Cimri MCP App Terms of Service

1. Operator, scope, and acceptance

The Cimri Model Context Protocol application and embedded interface (the “App”) are operated by Cimri Bilgi Teknolojileri ve Sistemleri A.Ş. (“Cimri”, “we”, “us”). These terms (“Terms”) apply specifically to the App.

By connecting, invoking, or using the App, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use it. These Terms supplement Cimri’s general website terms and your AI assistant provider’s terms. Cimri’s general terms also apply when you visit cimri.com.

2. Service and tools

The App lets an AI assistant search Cimri’s Turkish retail catalogue and show product information in an interactive interface. It provides two read-only tools:

• search_products uses a product query and optional minimum/maximum prices to return matching products, prices, merchants, images, and related catalogue attributes.
• get_product_details uses a Cimri product ID, normally selected from a search result, to return available offers, seller information, price history, specifications, ratings/comments, and pros/cons where available.

The App may provide links through Cimri to merchants. It cannot create or modify accounts, save favourites, send messages, submit forms, place orders, make payments, or change Cimri or merchant data.

3. Access and accounts

No Cimri account, password, or API key is required. You may need an account with your AI assistant provider. That provider’s terms govern account eligibility, security, billing, conversation storage, and suspension. You are responsible for authorised use of your assistant account and may disconnect the App through provider controls.

4. Permitted use

You may use the App for lawful, personal product discovery and comparison. You must not:

• violate applicable law, these Terms, or third-party rights;
• attempt unauthorised access, probe vulnerabilities, bypass safeguards, interfere with operation, or overload Cimri systems;
• scrape, crawl, bulk-download, systematically copy, republish, sell, or create a competing dataset from App content;
• use App content for model training, automated profiling, or a bulk commercial database without written permission;
• submit malware, fraudulent content, malicious instructions, or abusive queries;
• use the App for illegal goods, drugs, weapons, alcohol, tobacco, vaping, adult content, gambling, stolen goods, hacking tools, regulated financial services, or prohibited digital goods/subscriptions; or
• put payment details, passwords, authentication codes, API keys, government IDs, health data, or other sensitive/unnecessary personal data in a search.

Search results are subject to server-side restricted-category filtering. Cimri may rate-limit, block, suspend, or terminate access that threatens systems, users, merchants, or third-party rights.

5. Product and offer information

Product names, images, specifications, prices, availability, merchant details, campaigns, shipping, reviews, and other catalogue data may originate from merchants, manufacturers, users, or other sources. They are for comparison and information only. Cimri does not guarantee completeness, accuracy, currency, or fitness for your needs.

Prices and stock can change after the App responds. Ranking and filtering may depend on search text, category, popularity, available catalogue data, price filters, restricted-category filtering, and offer eligibility. A result is not a guarantee that it is the lowest price available everywhere.

Before purchasing, verify the product, seller, final price, stock, shipping, warranty, returns, and other conditions directly on the merchant site.

6. Cimri is not the seller

Cimri does not manufacture, stock, sell, deliver, insure, or warrant displayed products and is not the buyer, seller, distributor, dealer, payment processor, guarantor, or party to your transaction. Purchases, payments, delivery, cancellation, returns, warranties, and disputes are between you and the merchant under the merchant’s terms and applicable law.

Some offers may be sponsored or may generate commercial value for Cimri when you follow a referral link. Sponsored and related offer attributes are shown where available. You remain responsible for independently evaluating an offer.

7. AI-generated output

Your assistant may interpret requests, choose tools, summarise tool results, or generate explanatory text. AI output can be incomplete, inaccurate, or outdated. Cimri does not control the assistant provider’s model and does not guarantee model output.

App and assistant output is not financial, legal, medical, safety, professional, or investment advice, and is not a binding offer or price guarantee. Confirm important information with the merchant.

8. External links and third parties

External links open only when you select them. A link may first open a Cimri referral endpoint and then redirect to a merchant. Third-party sites are independently operated; their terms, privacy policies, cookies, content, availability, and security apply. A link does not mean Cimri guarantees the merchant or its products.

The App also depends on the assistant platform, internet, hosting, network, and content-delivery services. Cimri is not responsible for interruptions or data processing independently controlled by those providers.

9. Privacy

Tool inputs and outputs, referral data, technical logs, operational metrics, recipients, retention periods, and controls are described in the Cimri MCP App Privacy Policy. The assistant provider separately processes your account and conversation under its own policy.

10. Intellectual property

The App, Cimri name and marks, software, interface, catalogue compilation, and related materials are owned by Cimri or its licensors and protected by law. Third-party product names, images, merchant marks, reviews, and content may belong to their respective owners.

Cimri grants you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the App and view results for personal, non-commercial comparison, subject to these Terms. No ownership transfers to you.

11. Availability and changes

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”. Cimri does not guarantee uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or permanent availability. Cimri may change tools, supported platforms, categories, results, safeguards, interfaces, or limits; suspend the App for maintenance or security; or discontinue it.

12. Disclaimers and liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cimri disclaims implied warranties of merchantability, fitness, non-infringement, accuracy, and availability for the App and its content.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Cimri is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive loss; lost data, profits, savings, opportunity, or goodwill; decisions based on inaccurate or outdated information; AI errors; merchant conduct; merchant transactions; or interruptions caused by providers, networks, infrastructure, or events outside Cimri’s reasonable control. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limits mandatory consumer rights.

13. Suspension and termination

You may stop using or disconnect the App at any time. Cimri may restrict, suspend, or terminate access for security, maintenance, legal compliance, protection of rights, platform changes, discontinuation, or breach. Terms that should survive by nature—including intellectual property, disclaimers, liability, and governing law—survive termination.

14. Changes to these Terms

Cimri may update these Terms for changes in the App, law, security, or business practices. The current version will be published here with a revised date. If you do not accept an update, stop using and disconnect the App.

15. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Türkiye. Subject to mandatory consumer protections and non-waivable jurisdiction rights, disputes are subject to İstanbul Anadolu courts and enforcement offices. Rights under Law No. 6502 on Consumer Protection and other mandatory law remain unaffected.
